Email: [email protected] Professor Jean-Martin Charcot (Charcot), the brilliant French neurologist considered the father of modern neurology and the first professor of diseases of the nervous system, is regarded as one of the most important researchers in the field of clinical neurology in the 19 century (Figure 1).
